Drew-O-Rama In The House

All pictures by Drew over on his blog Drew-O-Rama and items to purchase at Kitsch Cafe

Girls and boys I think we should grab a little piece of Drew's life and put it into our own. I'm not talking about his fantastic style! I'm talking about reuse, repaint, reinterpret, revive, redeploy, or simply relish the things you have. As Ms Ilse Crawford says, "The idea that we can dispose of things easily weakens our links with the stuff we own. We need to commit to the objects that are partners in life - our tools and our treasures". Let 2010 be about revamping, reupholstering, rejiging. If you do offload, find a way to recycle or redistribute. Someone will love what you have tired of.

A Supermarket at Sarah's

For all of you out of townies who LOVE London's famous Portobello Market for its' delectable vintage finds well I have some GREAT news for you. Two words... Supermaket Sarah.

It's a fab new e-business that offers a whole lot more. Sarah decided to leave the corporate world behind her and has set up shop in her own home. Her home, round the corner from Portobello Market where she has a stall, is now overflowing with treasures and delights and she welcomes visitors with tea and cakes. Yep she even holds special tea parties where you and your friends can dress up while enjoying her hospitality. Sarah has created a blog documenting her finds and the kooky, stylish Notting Hill locals visiting her market stall. The internet shopping experience on her website is super simple. Just click on any item you like the look of on the picture and it takes you straight to the shopping cart. I love her styling too. The haphazard display holds together by using blocked colour. Great tip to take away and use in your own home. Happy shopping! I'm off to try and nab the Jesus Loves Me flag before you do :)
