A Week of Food

The following pictures are from the award winning photographer Peter Menzel's book Hungry Planet: What the World Eats, detailing average families in 24 countries focusing on each family’s weekly food purchases and daily life. The book received the coveted James Beard Best Book Award in 2006 and was awarded Book of the Year from the Harry Chapin World Hunger Media Foundation.
