Outdoor CInema
Guys are you losing the battle for a supersize large screen television at home? Well here's some solutions to win over your misses. Hang up a large canvas or use the side of your house, get a projector, lay out a picnic blanket, cook-up some fresh popcorn and get a couple of glasses of bubbly. Enjoy!

The First LEGO Calander
The first Lego calendar launched in the UK, with all profits going to the National Autistic Society, is on sale now here. The calendar features a variety of Lego characters, many of them imperilled by everyday objects in scenarios relating to each month. All the LEGO elements used have been in production at some point - even the terrified expressions come from genuine Lego figures.

The calendar is the work of freelance designer/photographer Ben Watts who works in-house at Lego HQ in Slough
Hanging Around
Life isn't always about work it's about kicking back and enjoying life
I love these photos and I have fallen in love with the work of talented Belgium photographer Sophie Van der Perre. I can't help but feel a little envious of Sophie's life in Amsterdam and all of her gorgeous looking friends. Sophie has a real knack in capturing the heart of each person in her images. Check out more of her work over on Flick'r

Top Dog
One guess who rules this home! His name is Braulio

"A dog is the only thing on this earth that loves you more than he loves himself."

"I used to look at my dog and think, 'If you were a little smarter, you could tell me what you were thinking,' and he'd look at me like he was saying, 'If you were a little smarter, I wouldn't have to.'" ~Fred Jungclaus
"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog." ~Edward Hoagland
"If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail." ~Fran Lebowitz
"The great pleasure of a dog is that you make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, he will make a fool of himself too."~ Samuel Butler

A Supermarket at Sarah's
For all of you out of townies who LOVE London's famous Portobello Market for its' delectable vintage finds well I have some GREAT news for you. Two words... Supermaket Sarah.

It's a fab new e-business that offers a whole lot more. Sarah decided to leave the corporate world behind her and has set up shop in her own home. Her home, round the corner from Portobello Market where she has a stall, is now overflowing with treasures and delights and she welcomes visitors with tea and cakes. Yep she even holds special tea parties where you and your friends can dress up while enjoying her hospitality. Sarah has created a blog documenting her finds and the kooky, stylish Notting Hill locals visiting her market stall. The internet shopping experience on her website is super simple. Just click on any item you like the look of on the picture and it takes you straight to the shopping cart. I love her styling too. The haphazard display holds together by using blocked colour. Great tip to take away and use in your own home. Happy shopping! I'm off to try and nab the Jesus Loves Me flag before you do :)
British Tea Party!

photo of Nicki by Rowland Scott Smith
This is my friends wedding I went to last Saturday. I have been to a lot of weddings and I believe this has been my favourite! Why? It was fun. Sharing cake, tea, and sandwiches mixed with dancing in an old school community hall brought the nostalgia of England to this modern day wedding. The bride, groom and his mum searched all the local charity stores for months collecting a mishmash of vintage china. The result is beautiful, colourful and playful. Check out the grooms amazing paintings on Charlie Cobb
